Responsibilities to help you progress

You have a clear notion of how you’d like your career to progress: EY will provide the framework to turn your plans into reality! We will acquaint you in a very practical manner with many colleagues and advisors from the law, strategy and commercial fields and the M&A and leveraged finance teams of investment banks as well as with clients and methodologies. As part of our market leading team, you will tackle challenging issues pertaining to our clients’ national and international projects. Join EY and jump start your career - with attractive M&A work such as sub project responsibility for financial due diligence, identification of opportunities and risks and synergies for carve out projects and preparation, and implementation of Q&A sessions with top management representatives. And there’s more. You will analyze financials and present your results as a decision making basis for our clients. From DAX30, MDAX and SDAX companies to the top financial investors – you will support clients on site in planned transactions. These relationships and your commitment in a wide range of sectors will help you to grow: As your responsibility for your team and client increases, you will refine your skills, analyze and value companies and identify potential courses of action which we will communicate to our clients in the form of specific and practical advice: @ EY we offer solutions!

 

 

The profile you need to make a difference

The skills you demonstrate as an advisor are anything but ordinary. Razor sharp analytical thinking, outstanding presentation skills (in English and ideally additional languages), willingness to travel. In addition, you have a university degree in business studies (cum laude) and three to five years of professional experience in the aforementioned fields, ideally in transaction advisory services at a Big 4 audit firm or at an investment bank, M&A boutique, in-house M&A department or corporate advisory practice. We also welcome applications from candidates who have an outstanding university degree in a different subject and are interested in transaction advisory services.
