Your Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, design, customize and optimize Digital and Cloud based solutions using the Salesforce.com platform.Lead system design discussions and recommend alternate choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis. Learn new client information quickly, and translate data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems.
When required, be able to write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable to develop, test, deploy and supportdata-driven internet, intranet and extranet applications. Assist with providing information on assigned tasks.
Work as part of a team during technical implementations to finalize architecture specification, create designs as they relate to customizations and/or integration of CRM. Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced developers.
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Skills and attributes for success
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels
· Ability to lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and establish an understanding of business processes with the client
· Willingness to participate in the pre-sales process as needed for RFPs and SOWs
· Ability to lead the solutioning and design of the Salesforce platform
· Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities
· Work with developers to define and create specifications for any custom code or data migration requirements
· Ability to identify potential risks (people and technology), develop plans for mitigation, and support the change management efforts
To qualify for the role, you must have
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 4 years of experience4+ years of experience (or 6+ projects) implementing Salesforce.com with teams of 5 or more people, and have hands on experience with configuration and customizations
· Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of developers
· Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce.com technical architecture experience on enterprise projects
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java or C# preferred), SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML
· Minimum of 3 years of experience with Force.com platform programming in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
· Minimum of 3 years of experience with Force.com platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices regarding security and automation
· Minimum of 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems
· Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
· Familiarity with relational database concepts
· Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple tasks and priorities
· Up to 50% out-of-town travel required for this job
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred
· Salesforce Application Architect Certification
· Salesforce System Architect Certification
· One or more of the following certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud Consultant
· Trailhead Ranger Rank
