The opportunity

 As aPortfolio Finance Advisor (PFA), you will be part of an extended global PFA network, focused on improving margin performance and at the forefront of finance and business policies, tools and best practices to effectively support Client Servers (CS). Acting as a trusted business advisor, you will help navigate the business through the complexities of managing large and complex engagements and translating financial data into commercial terms, providing insight into the account/engagement’s financial performance as well as support future financial decisions.

Finance is part of EY’s Core Business Services providing support to our client serving teams.We are now looking for a Portfolio Finance Advisor, that can be located in any of the Nordic countries and the cities of Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm or Helsinki.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

The Portfolio Finance Advisor is a finance expert with deep knowledge and experience of the financial elements of Contact to Cash (C2C) and you have a high level understanding of the business operations. You are an expert in budgeting and financial management of client engagements and will advise our senior leaders and their teams to optimize and improve margin. You have insight and operational knowledge to analyze performance according to EY Metrics and provide insight in how we can take action to improve financial performance on client engagements.

 

·  Monitor financial performance based on EY`s strategy and key value drivers.
·  Deliver high quality analysis and presentations explaining key value drivers and business insight.
·  Assist in building business cases for Margin improvement following EYs strategy.
·  Participate in driving the revenue plan process for EY accounts. 
·  Guide Client Serving on effective financial and engagement management aligned to the type and scope of work incl. working capital.
·  Be an expert in our financial systems where there are greatest complexities i.e. rev rec, pricing, engagement structuring.

To qualify for the role you must have

 

·  Higher degree in Business Management with strong academic results.
·  Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills.
·  Fluent in English, written and spoken.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Experience from the professional services industries an advantage; background or experience from consulting preferred
