The opportunity
 

Our PBFA (Planning, Budgeting and Financial Analysis) team is seeking strong Finance Advisors to support the EY Global Advisory organization. You will part of a team of dedicated Senior Finance advisors tasked to:

 
·  Deliver Powerful Insights to Key Stakeholders
·  Build Strong Partnerships with Business Leaders 
·  Network Locally, Regionally and Globally within Finance and outside
·  Drive Excellence in Short and Long Term Planning and Forecasting
·  Develop Subject Matter Experts within our core responsibility areas

Your key responsibilities
·     Provide insightful financial analysis to the Advisory organization and management
·  Explain variances in performance compared to plan figures, both from a financial and business perspective
·  Take part and lead planning/forecasting processes.
·  Understand performance outlook and key drivers impacting success
·  Support and assist the business in improving their insights into business performance
·  Take part in improvement projects re. processes, procedures and systems
·  Understand tools and reports available to provide efficient analysis and insights  

Qualifications   
·  Preferred candidates will have a master degree in finance, economics, business administration or similar combined with +4 years of experience in a professional atmosphere in a finance/business capacity with at least 3 years of supervisory, analytical, forecasting and budgeting experience
·  Position is expected to have autonomy and proactively raise issues or concerns to Senior members as necessary
·  It is expected that this individual works with minimum supervision of Senior team members
·  Computer proficiency; be proficient or trainable in complex aspects of financial software packages, including Essbase, Hyperion, Business Objects, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Lotus Notes
·  Service-minded, proactive and quality-minded attitude
·  Strong time management and organizational skills
·  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
·  Ability to gain respect of both the finance community and client serving teams
·  Good presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and listening skills
·  A team player with the ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
·  Ability to teach new skills to others
·  Good aptitude for dealing with complex systems issues
·  Quality improvement-oriented, professional approach
·  Strong written and oral communication skills
·  Travel may be required based on business need
·   The position is expected to participate in special projects
·  Ability to work in a virtual global organization respecting international cultures and speaking/writing English fluently.
