Your key responsibilities

Provide exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solve complex problems for clients from a diverse array of backgrounds and domains. Develop test strategies and execute test plans to identify software problems and their root causes. Define specifications and develop test cases structured to support systems, functional, integration, automation and performance testing.  Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·  Apply system analysis techniques and procedures including interviewing various resources to gather required information, analyzing and documenting requirements
·  Determine software or system functional specifications that allow for the successful development/configuration of select Automation software solutions
·  Demonstrating ability to digest, incorporate and leverage new knowledge relative to the client(s) Automation software development/configuration needs
·  Sharing your knowledge and developing engagement tools and enablers to build capability for the practice 
·  Ability to understand complex requirements, writing complex back-end scenarios and test cases and have good understanding of environments and data

 

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  Worked as a SDET performing mobile test automation, preferably in an agile team, creating white-box tests for code as they are delivered to you by the development team
·  A minimum of 2 years’ experience with mobile test automation technologies like XCUITest, Espresso or Appium
·  Familiar with working with device management systems like Perfecto and Xperitest for real devices, emulators and simulators
·  Computer software configuration or development experience in any of the following technologies: Java, Objective C, Swift, Kotlin – should be comfortable reading code written in native mobile languages and create tests for them
·  Worked with webservices – SOAP and REST
·  Experience scheduling scripts in a CI/CD orchestration system like Jenkins and monitoring tests
·  Knowledge and experience regarding different types of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, DB2, etc
·  Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT with at least 5 years in software quality engineering
·  Expert level experience with one or more of the following test management tools: JIRA, VersionOne, HP ALM. 
·  Bachelor’s Degree and five or more years or related work experience

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Prior consulting experience highly preferred
·  Ability to analyze business requirements and define solutions to address complex business challenges
·  Ability to deftly identify, manage, and track dependencies across teams and projects to manage risk
