Marketing & Events Executive - FSO - BMC - Permanent - London

Job description

The Opportunity:
 
An opportunity to work within our diverse UK financial services’ marketing team, part of Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC). Based in our Canary Wharf office, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of the cross- sector teams’ flagship events, corporate hospitality and buyer programmes.

Being part of such a dynamic and fast paced industry, your role will be crucial in helping the business respond to industry issues and to deliver against its strategic priorities. You will be working directly with senior partners within the business, helping to plan and deliver a range of events which are key to developing and maintaining our client relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:
·  Planning and delivering a range of flagship events, corporate hospitality and buyer programmes
·  Ability to project manage smaller round tables (12 guests) to large scale events (300) simultaneously
·  To ensure the delivery of all events on time and within budget
·  Working directly with senior partners within the business and the relevant external agencies
·  Driving internal campaigns to raise awareness of activity
·  Capturing the ROI on all campaign activity
·  Working as part of the wider marketing team to share knowledge and best practice

To qualify for the role you must have:
·  A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience at a marketing executive level
·  Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering events
·  Exposure to senior internal stakeholders, external clients and suppliers
·  Excellent project management skills and experience of working with CRM systems
·  Proficient with the Microsoft Suite

Ideally, you’ll also have:
·  Experience of working within a professional services partnership
·  CIM qualified or a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications
