Desired profile
Job summary
The team member will commence his/her work on or before 01 January 2017 at the location of the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) in Bangalore. This position reports to GDS/EY Law team leader and will work closely with various internal stakeholders. The tasks and responsibilities will be determined by EY Law in close consultation with GDS.
The GDS team's focus in FY16/17 will be on services in relation to EY Law's two client solutions: Global Data Privacy and Labor & Employment Law in Business Transformations, but it is expected that further services will be added in future FYs.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - ability to summarize, edit, and harmonize large volume of data.
· Solid research and analytical skills – ability to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
· Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
· A strong proficiency in working across the various Microsoft office tools (word, excel, PowerPoint).
· Proactive and motivated across all aspects of teaming and execution of work.
· A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
· Attention to detail and openness to feedback.
· International outlook and awareness.
Qualifications, Education and Certification
· Graduate/Post Graduate in Law from leading Indian/Foreign Law University or College (LLB/LLM; BL/ML/Juris Doctor).
· At least 2 years of relevant experience (such as junior lawyer in private practice in reputable internationally orientated law firm, LPO, junior legal associate/counsel in multinational company).
· Exposure to multi-jurisdiction Labor & Employment Laws/Data Protection & Data Privacy Laws preferable.
· Any data privacy or compliance training/certification is an added advantage.
