Job description
·
Delivery of M&A services including preparation information memorandum, investor presentations, pitch books, teasers, target and investor shortlisting, market insights, competitive landscape and comparable analysis.
·
Supporting the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) projects covering engagements, proposals and business development initiatives.
·
Should be able to co-ordinate and accomplish multiple projects, including planning, scoping of the requirement, assisting with data collection/ analysis; and business writing and disseminating research results based on the type of project.
·
Analysing a company's historic/current financial situation as well as multiple for trading and transaction comparable.
·
Able to work across multiple sectors including key sectors such as consumer products & retail, healthcare, telecommunication, media and entertainment sector.
·
Ready to travel onshore (Middle East region) to deliver the project, by working together with engagement team.
·
Demonstrating excellent skills in project execution, report writing and presentation development.
·
Ability to contribute meaningful ideas and work productively with other team members as well as on independent assignments.
·
Proactively engage with customer/stakeholders to Identify, build and develop new opportunities.
·
Adherence of all process compliance as well as timely reporting of facts & figures.
·
4-6 years of business analysis, report writing, consulting and client management experience in a consulting or investment banking environment with exposure to working with senior leadership
·
Understanding of merger and acquisition (M&A) life cycle, carve-out/integration of a business post-announcement of transaction and cross-border M&A
·
Relevant experience in handling projects including commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, strategic market assessment, benchmarking analysis and M&A advisory.
·
Strong knowledge/level of project experience in separations / carve-outs, restructuring and integrations and synergy analysis across sectors.
·
Financial analysis experience with the ability to link operational analysis to P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
·
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines; must be able to analyse and prioritize assignments; also must judge the amount of time to spend for the expected outcome, according to the importance of a project and the type of information needed.
·
Good business sense, logical reasoning and should be to conceptualize project storyboard.
·
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
·
Experienced in presenting and writing findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
·
Should have presentation & business writing skills as well as good excel knowledge
·
Exposure to valuation and business modelling are added advantage to the role.
·
Knowledge of standard reference/information sources such as CapitalIQ, Mergermarket, Thomsonone.com, Reuters Eikon, Onesource, Factiva etc. will be preferred.
·
Ability to read, analyse, interpret, synthesise and present information from financial, valuation reports, market/industry reports, articles, technical and trade documents, and other journals.
