Job description

Our national practice assists clients in providing data analytics and information management services. These services cover the following main areas:
· Data Migration – Design, Execution and Assurance
· Master Data Management
· Data Quality Management
· Assurance and Risk Data Analytics
· General Data Analytics
EY is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates with the following skills and qualifications

Key responsibilities
· Extract or collect required data for analysis.
· Perform data reconciliation procedures to confirm completeness of data extract.
· Support the assessment of the data including data validation and profiling.
· Verify results against given specifications.
· Prepare results for review process and update scripts accordingly.
· Prepare final data analysis results sets or output files.
· Prepare working papers documenting steps followed during data assessment process.
· Abide by the project guidelines to manage and secure client data.

Desired profile

The ideal candidate should have:
·  Good HSC results
·  Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field/ BSC degree with an active interest in programming will be an advantage, however not a pre-requisite.
·  Programming qualification (certificate or diploma) in basic or advanced Structured Query Language programming will be an advantage.

Skills :
·  Logical thinker and problem solver.
·  High-level understanding of relational databases.
·  Able to analyse relationships between data.
·  Exceptional attention to detail required.
·  Be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access.
·  Be proficient with SQL programming.
·  Good written and verbal communication skills.
·  Candidate would be at an advantage if they have experience in SAP data analysis.
