IT Analyst, IT Advisory, Alliances and Platforms (Policy/Billing - Data) - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.
Provide technology consulting services to insurance clients. Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, and technology selection decisions to assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Focus on implementing Insurance Enterprise Data Management IT solutions, including upgrades, mobility, integration, infrastructure, and requirements definition. Assist clients through all phases of the technology enablement lifecycle. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday,40-45hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field and 4 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements.
Must have 4 years of experience in at least one of the following:
- Enterprise data management
- Data reporting
- Data mapping and conversion
- Data integration
Must have 3 years of experience with either:
- Advising a financial services company; or
- Advising a property and casualty insurance carrier
Must have 2 years of experience working with a team of technology advisors using proven project management and testing methodologies through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing.
Must have 3 years of experience in all of the following areas:
- Defining business and technical requirements
- System selection and implementation support
- Proof of concept
- Business and IT process reengineering
- Program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
Must have 3 years of experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Defining business and technology architecture
- Configuring software applications
- Quality assurance and testing
Must have 3 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
Must have 3 years of experience in at least two of the following:
- Management reporting enhancement
- Business intelligence/decision support
- Data warehousing/enterprise data design and management
- Enterprise application integration
Must have 4 years of experience in at least one of the following:
- Business Objects
- Cognos
- Oracle
- SAP
- SAS
- Informatica
- Guidewire
- OneShield
- Exigen
- MajescoMastek
- Duck Creek
- FirstBest
- Data Stage
- Teradata
- Java/J2EE
- SQL
- T-SQL or PL/SQL

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
