The opportunity
The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our federal clients. The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice (GPS). This position assists the Assurance team by completing auditing report and documentation tasks, auditing tasks and support tasks.
Your key responsibilities
· Assist with the administration of audit reporting and documentation by collecting data and creating reports

· Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from analysis of financial statements
· Assist in applying accounting and auditing concepts to client situations by making recommendations and suggestions for improvements
· Document the execution of specific audit procedures
· Identify opportunities to enhance audit techniques
· Assist in creating audit and accounting client deliverables by collecting input and creating documents
· Assist with financial and audit data analytics by collecting data and compiling reports
· Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from analysis of financial statements
· Assist in applying accounting and auditing concepts to client situations by making recommendations and suggestions for improvements
· Document the execution of specific audit procedures
· Identify opportunities to enhance audit techniques
· Assist in creating audit and accounting client deliverables by collecting input and creating documents
· Assist with financial and audit data analytics by collecting data and compiling reports
· Collect and organize financial and audit data for weekly / monthly and ad hoc reporting
· Execute on and deliver engagement specific tasks as directed
To qualify for the role, you must have
· Bachelor's degree
· Minimum of 1 years' of experience in related job competency or demonstrated ability to learn and perform the role
· United States citizenship; must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
· Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
· Experience in analyzing and solving problems
· Experience working with accounting, business management and/or technology concepts
· Experience and confidence in working with a nationally distributed team
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) ,
· Ability to become proficient with Tableau and Visio
· Competent in meeting tight deadlines and following up on open issues
· Excellent English language skills ' both written and verbal

The EY Government and Public Sector Practice’s staffing model is to assign resources to projects aligned to the office within the metropolitan area you have been hired; however, in certain circumstances, travel may be required within and/or beyond your geographic region based on client and project needs. For roles within the federal practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 30% is preferred. Within the state, local and education practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 80% is preferred.
· Ability to progress towards achieving CGFM or CDFM certifications
