Global Account Manager - Business Development

The Account Manager is responsible for working with the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP) and account team to drive global account management; sales and program management; and account communications and administration. The Account Manager ensures that all locations and Service Lines of the firm are actively engaged around our largest, most complex global accounts and that we deliver Exceptional Client Service (ECS) in all internal and external encounters.

Responsibilities include:
·  Delivering exceptional client service across priority accounts by leveraging EY's sales tools, processes and methodologies
·  Responsibility of driving the account management infrastructure for priority accounts, including preparing and facilitating account planning meetings, managing client service quality program, managing the annual account budgeting process, managing the account pipeline process and drive discipline across global team
·  Serving as a central point of contact for all information related to the account
·  Understanding the full range of services that EY has developed to meet the needs of our clients and supporting the structuring of these into client propositions
·  Working alongside colleagues to develop proposals to carry out work on behalf of clients and, where possible, assisting with the delivery of the work
·  Keeping up to date with the client's industry market, product and regulatory developments and refreshing our internal and external views on market themes on a monthly basis
·  Building internal and external networks and leveraging EY resources to support the account

We would anticipate that the successful candidate will become an experienced consultant and subject matter specialist over time, as well as developing important account management and sales enablement skills.

We're looking for people with the following skills:

·  Must be able to work within a matrix organization - balancing the needs of the client against firm initiatives and goals.
·  Ability to capture, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
·  Understanding or interest in learning of the telecom and technology market
·  Experience or interest in developing knowledge within the telecom and technology industry
·  First class oral and written communication skills
·  Self-motivated with a robust and resilient disposition
·  Curious, with a high propensity to learn

What type of experience is necessary to perform this job?


·  Approximately 2-5 years of account management or similar relevant experience, ideally gained within a global multinational company.
·  Professional Services experience preferred but not essential
·  Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
·  Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major telecom and technology sector trends preferred
·  Proven ability to work and influence cross-functionally and geographically and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and departments
·  Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
·  Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail
·  University/Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced degree preferred
