The Opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated people to join our Finance Process Improvement practice EY Greece Advisory Services, which is a leading provider of advisory services in Greece. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to get involved in projects across various industries. For the right candidate there is potential for excellent career progression.Your primary focus will be advising the client CFO and Finance team to help improve business performance and deliver better insights to their stakeholders.The type of projects we cover are:

·  Business transformations to drive best practice & cost efficiency
·  Finance operating model design and implementation
·  Finance process improvement including cost accounting/control and financial closing
·  Controlling excellence and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), including General Ledger, consolidation, Financial Planning and Analytics (F&PA) and budgeting
·  Finance, Risk and Treasury integration
·  Finance systems architecture and strategy delivery
Your key responsibilities

In your role, you will have responsibility for: 

·  Delivery on client assignments
·  Supporting business development initiatives and proposals
·  Ensuring client satisfaction by providing timely, value-added services that meet or exceed expectation
·  Developing long-term trusted advisor relationships with external clients and industry contacts
·  Delegating, supervising and supporting the development of team members
·  Identifying opportunities for and securing new business
  Skills and Attributes for success
·  Extensive knowledge of finance function and their key processes (e.g. Financial Accounting and Finance Performance Management)
·  Change management/transformation experience, including an understanding of how IT change supports this
·  Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
·  Passionate about delivering innovation to help client solve business problems
· 
Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach

·  Ability to interact with teams at all hierarchical levels
·  Team working and communication skills
· 
Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness

 
To qualify for the role you must have
·  Three (3) to eight (8) years of experience working for a top tier consulting firm or top tier bank
·  Excellent academic record, including a postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant
·  Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint); experience in the use of any BI tool would be desirable
·  Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in Greek and English)
·  Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Ideally, you’ll also have
·  Accounting/ finance qualifications (CFA/ACCA etc.)
·  Previous experience in professional services/consulting firm/financial institution
·  Advanced excel skills in developing financial models to support performance analysis will be considered an advantage
