The opportunity

We are currently looking for ambitious young professionals to join our growing Corporate Finance team in Helsinki as Analyst Trainee. EY Corporate Finance is a leading M&A advisor, with a truly global presence and work in industry focused, multi-disciplinary teams. Our clients range from private equity investors to entrepreneurs and global corporations. The Corporate Finance team is part of EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice.

The successful candidate will work together with our experienced advisors on sell- and buy-side transactions, mergers, capital market and fundraising transactions. You will also have the opportunity to interact with local as well as international clients, which requires that you are comfortable taking responsibility and initiative. Your key responsibilities

As a Corporate Finance Analyst Trainee you will assist our professionals in various assignments, e.g.

·  Working independently with the support of the other members of the team in preparation of client presentations and other deliverables
·  Gathering and analyzing information on target companies
·  Conducting company valuations and market analysis
·  Frequent interaction with your team on the progress, potential issues as well as conclusions related to performed analysis, presentations and other client deliverables
·  Attending client meetings

Skills and attributes for success

·  Currently pursuing an academic degree (M.Sc. Econ. or M.Sc. Tech) in the field of, e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management
·  Strong academic record
·  Team oriented with high personal integrity
·  Analytical mindset and social intelligence, capable of working effectively in a multicultural environment
·  Interest in the financial services industry and have a business mindset
·  Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite
·  Excellent skills both in Finnish and English, fluent Swedish is an advantage
·  Ability to prioritize and keep to deadlines

We offer you a 4 to 6 months long full-time traineeship during 2019. Starting dates can be agreed flexibly. You will be based in our Helsinki office.
