Qualifications :

Our continued success in the Caribbean region has propelled rapid growth in our team. We have ambitious plans and we are seeking a high-performing, motivated, and experienced restructuring staff to join our team to help in further developing our practice in the Bahamas and the wider Caribbean region. This role will primarily focus on restructuring and insolvency; the successful candidate should have some knowledge of liquidations (both solvent and insolvent), while some investigations/forensics/valuations experience would be beneficial but is not required for this role.

This position is based in the Bahamas and, where necessary to meet client demands, in the wider Caribbean area. Successful candidates must have a track record of performance in previous similar positions and a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service.

Your client responsibilities
·  Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
·  Prepare analysis and reports supporting the restructuring assignment as required to be delivered to clients and other parties
·  Develop and maintain productive working relationships with management and workforce of the target business as well as its stakeholders
·  Build strong internal relationships within Restructuring and across other services.
·  Strong communication skills, building effective relationships at all levels

Your people responsibilities
·  Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining Restructuring professionals
·  Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills

To qualify, candidates must have:
·  A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
·  Actively pursuing an internationally recognized professional accounting designation, such as a CPA, CA, ACA, or equivalent; a recognized insolvency qualification would be beneficial, but is not required
·  A minimum of one year of recent relevant experience within the finance sector.
·  Although not required, the ideal candidate would have experience serving clients in the financial services industry
·  Display a high level of commercial acumen, and an awareness of the key drivers of corporate failure or underperformance
·  Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis and able to identify potential areas of sensitivity
·  Able to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions
·  Experienced in presenting findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
·  Appreciation of the risks inherent in advising distressed businesses and their stakeholders
·  Dedication to teamwork and leadership, and integrity within a professional environment
·  The ability and willingness to travel within BBC and the United States
