We are looking for Junior Accountant with Spanish who will play an important role in reporting and credit control in Accounts Receivable & Dunning area. This role offers a great opportunity to improve your language skills during daily cooperation with our Spanish colleagues and clients and gives you a chance to observe how financial processes are led in a global organization. Additionally you will have the occasion to excel your accounting and analytical skills with a continuous collaboration between different financial processes.
The main focus of your role you will be cooperating with our EY offices in Spain in various financial aspects.
Based on the accounting requirements, you will support the Dunning and Collections team in following and analysing continuous steps of the dunning process as well as have a control over the credit balance of EY clients. The role involves close e-mail and phone-based contact with our Spanish speaking clients.
Your key responsibilities

Performing all the dunning actions assigned to you in accordance with documented procedure
·
Responding to dunning-related phone calls, e-mails and queries from both internal and external clients
·
Escalating disputes/issues to the appropriate contact persons/departments providing complete information
·
Maintaining regular contact with internal and external clients to create and keep a trustworthy relationship
·
Controlling and minimizing the number of outstanding invoices and credit notes
·
Supporting AR team with payment allocations.
·
Preparing daily, weekly and monthly financial reports
·
Providing recommendations for any changes required to dunning procedures
In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn and cooperate with other Spanish finance processes.
Skills and attributes for your success:

Fluency in Spanish (C1) and intermediate in English (B1/B2)
·
Strong customer service skills and confident in phone communication with clients.
·
Previous experience in SCC/BPO is recommended.
·
Bachelor degree in finance or other business related major would be an asset
·
Be accountable and take ownership for the tasks entrusted to the role holder
·
Strong ability to work in a team environment
·
Feel comfortable with working with MS Office package
You should be able to independently complete your regular responsibilities according to deadlines, communicate with other teams in order to resolve daily challenges and show professionalism during day-to-day contact with EY clients and partners.
