Job description
EY is one of the world's leading professional services firms, with over 245,000 people working across 150 countries for clients all over the world. EY Belfast is a key part of EY’s global strategy for expansion - Vision 2020 - to double the size of our business. It’s an exciting time to join as more opportunities open up for graduates to learn from industry leading experts, develop their careers and forge a future in business.
Where can you learn more about EY?
This autumn we are offering Discover EY Belfast, a two insight programme taking place on 11 & 12 September 2018. This programme is aimed primarily at final year or postgraduate students across all degree pathways who not only want to learn more about what we do and see what it’s really like to work in our Audit or Tax service lines but also want to secure a graduate role before the start of the 2018/19 academic year.
What will you do?
Over the course of the programme you will take part in:
· Seminars that will help you understand our Audit & Tax service lines and client work
· Real world case studies and projects
· Interactive employability workshops with our Talent Team
· Networking sessions with EY staff and recent graduates
What will you gain?
· Knowledge about our service lines, clients and the type of work we do
· Invaluable skills that will help you succeed in the business world
· Confidence from meeting new people, gaining new friends and increasing your networks
You will be assessed throughout the programme so that you have an opportunity to secure a graduate opportunity before you start your final year of University. You will know by the end of the two days if you have secured a seat in either our Tax or Audit 2019 graduate programmes.
How to apply?
At EY, we are really interested in the kind of person you are and the things you're naturally good at and that’s why we select students based on their strengths and future potential to succeed.
Our application and selection process is very simple. You must complete an online application form and successfully pass the two psychometric tests that you will be sent shortly afterwards. We have limited places on this programme so if you are unable to secure a place but have successfully passed the assessments you will be put on a waiting list until a place becomes available.
If you need any changes to be made to the process for a reason related to a disability or long-term health condition please let us know on the dedicated section on our application form.
