DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer with EY’s Security Consulting and Assurance team, you will be a trusted security partner in EY’s managed services efforts.  We deliver global managed services platforms, big data and analytics solutions, as well as focused point solutions. You will directly engage in delivery of projects with multi-disciplinary teams, implementing automation and security-related tooling within DevOps teams. You will also assist in developing security risk treatment and mitigation solutions and their integration into DevOps pipeline automation.

Essential functions of the job

·  Hands-on DevOps engineering working with related tools and techniques
·  Assist in development of security-related standards for platforms and technologies
·  Assist in providing security-related guidance to teams

Knowledge and skills requirements

·  Working knowledge of architecture and design of solutions using cloud-based technologies
·  Proficient with a variety of software development languages, tools and techniques
·  Proficient with a variety of DevOps tools and techniques
·  Proficient in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks and Python
·  Proficient at integration of various tools into DevOps pipeline such as Jenkins, Git and VSTS
·  Working knowledge of the Agile methodology

Ideally, you will also have

·  Experience with automated tools such as WebInspect, Whitesource and Black duck
·  Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies
·  Hold or be actively pursuing security-related professional certifications within the GIAC family of certifications or CISSP, CISM or CISA
·  Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
·  Strong English language skills

Education

·  A degree in Computer Science or related major, or equivalent work experience
