Position title – GCP Cloud Migration Engineer - Senior
Location: Bangalore – Global Delivery Services

Job purpose:

Associate Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer inthe IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of migrationprojects on Google cloud platform for our customers across the globe.

 

Your Technical responsibilities: (part of description)

·  Participate in Google cloud migration engagementswhere workloads from On-premise is migrated to GCP
·  Participate in different phases of cloud migration.
·  Participate in the development and implement Cloudsolutions, functions, and applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
·  Participate in delivery of new service offerings,working closely with the Infrastructure team to deliver low latency,high-performance applications
·  Participate in the development of applications,functions, and processes that integrate future Cloud topologies that minimizecosts while maximizing performance, reliability, and manageability
·  As part of a team, research, analyze, recommend andimplement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques tofurther Cloud offerings in support of our business
·  As part of a team, recommend tools/approaches formanageability, zero downtime, scalability, repeatability, automation.
·  Contributor on team to develop tools to identifyand mitigate security vulnerabilities
·  Participate on team to create automated approachesand scripts for system administration tasks where possible and appropriate
·  Participate on team to develop automation andorchestration capabilities which allow us to operate at scale
·  Help develop clear, concise installation,configuration procedures, runbooks and contributing to the maintenance ofoperational standards
·  Contributor on team to define and document standardoperating procedures and protocols from a security perspective
·  Participate on team to develop, support, anddocument automated build and configuration management processes

 

Requirements (Qualifications)

We are looking for the candidates with the following: 

·  BE/B.Tech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 6to 10 years

Mandatory skills:

·  Microsoft/Java Development skills
·  Angular 2 & above, Node.JS

·  No SQL (Cassandra /Mongo )

·  Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server

·  GCP Services (Compute, Storage etc.)

Preferred skills:  

·  CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment

·  Elasticsearch
·  Experience of working with ESB

·  Working experience on Maven & Jenkins , Docker , Kubernetes

·  Hybrid/native mobile application development

·  Experience working on CMMI / Agile / SAFE methodologies
