EY- Assurance – Team Leader, AMS , SAE
As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the role requires the incumbent to proactively develop relationships with the global EY teams serving these engagements and supervise the delivery of GDS engagement management support activities.
The opportunity
We’re looking for candidates with experience in general management who can effectively work within GDS framework and assist different Assurance teams
Your key responsibilities
· The Team Leader role within EY GDS Assurance is focused on serving global, priority accounts of EY and can be specialized for a specific community consisting of a sector or geography. The role requires the incumbent to proactively develop relationships with the global EY teams serving these engagements and supervise the delivery of GDS engagement management support activities.
· The individual will also have the responsibility to coach, mentor and develop a strong team, manage utilization and grow the depth and breadth of our support to the organization’s priority engagements.
· Project manage global assurance engagements with the assigned team, through various processes, such as multi-location coordination, engagement economics, and database management etc.
· Independently work on critical engagements, projects and activities as and when needed
· Highlight risk areas for Global engagements to stakeholders through regular interactions with Global teams
· Accurately identifying problems, exceptions and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept updated on these items
· Ensuring that the assigned team maintains and updates global engagement team databases and contact lists as appropriate
· Ensuring all databases and reports are up to date with latest review developments, risks, findings, issues and results
· Review and present deliverables on assurance project status, risks and results
· Review and present post engagement analysis, of assigned clients, showcasing – trends, KPIs, Benchmarking and deep dive analysis
· Manage Transition for first year assurance engagements, with the assigned team
· Support Global pursuits and other projects as necessary or as assigned
· Manage engagement economics for the assigned engagements
· Take responsibility for the assigned work and review before it is submitted/presented to stakeholders, while also ensuring timelines are met
· Lead and participate in planned and recurring connect with stakeholders, to share progress or updates
· Team development, including mentoring, counselling and team building
· Act as an owner of all process-related documents and ensure that they are up-to-date
· Conduct monthly meetings with counselees and send minutes of the meetings to reporting managers of counselees
· Drive quality culture and promote process improvements in the team
· Assist in hiring, documentation, training and other related aspects
· Contribute to the culture of the broader team
To qualify for the role, you must have
· Postgraduate/graduate degree (MBA/B.Com./BBA) with 6 + years of related business experience, preferably from same industry
· Minimum 1 year of experience in managing teams
· Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder and account management skills
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously using project management skills
· Proactive, organized and self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize work and multitask
· Ability to quickly and easily create, gather, analyse data from a variety of sources
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure that work is of a consistently high standard
· Ability to communicate with leaders
· Analyze complex or unusual problems and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions
· Strong organizational and management skills with ability to delegate work effectively
· Ability to effectively summarize and conclude work, applying appropriate documentation standards
· Ability to pay attention to details and meet tight deadlines, ensuring that high-quality work is done consistently
· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint What we look for
