Build Engineer

Responsibilities:

·  Package, build and deploy applications written in multiple programming languages
·  Create automated pipelines using various build tools
·  Create and manage source and version control
·  Work closely with architects, developers, testers and program leadership
·  Proactively set up build pipelines, version control structure and educate team members in following the process

 

Required Skills:

·  7+ years of expertise in creating and configuring build and release pipelines
·  5+ Years of experience working in Microsoft environment using various build tools (Such as TFS, RM, VSTS etc.)
·  5+ Years of experience building applications written using C#/.Net, JS, SQL, NoSQL, APIs, HTML, CSS, Java etc..
·  3+ Years of experience building and deploying applications on Azure cloud.
·  3+ Years of experience in creating various shell scripts using Power Shell and other tools
·  7+ years of experience with Team foundation server and managing source and version control
·  Expertise in setting up multiple daily builds
·  Expertise in building, deploying large scale applications that were developed across multiple development teams
·  Expertise in creating sophisticated build and release pipelines that have unit tests, automated tests and production deployments built in.
·  Experience with building open source applications is a huge plus.
