JOB DESCRIPTION
As Performance Improvement Staff/ Associates - you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from managers, you'll identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young. By drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
Role Definition:
· Gather, analyse and document business requirements covering the full scope of all initiativesrequired to achieve the expected outcomes of the environment.
· Assist with development of standard testing procedures and results verification.
· Exposure and adherence to methodologies.
· Ensure that quality assurance and testing standards are adhered to.
· Enhance the image of the company through the continuous delivery of efficient and effective customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Analyse and document the business requirements
· Delivery on time as per project deadlines
· Assist in facilitating workshops/one-on-one meetings with stakeholders (business and IT).
· Design and develop test cases as part of the projects delivery process
· Participate in pre-release testing (enhancements/fixes/new products/ software/ conversions
· etc).
· Work closely with the IT supplier(s) to resolve issues during project implementation
· Work closely with the IT supplier(s) to resolve issues once the system has been deployed into production environment.
Continuous Process Improvement:
Ensure full compliance to all processes, policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement. ·
· Customer service: Maintain a high level of service to customers (internal and external) according to service level agreements and within the service standards as set by the company.
· Effective and timeous communication: Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external parties and respond to queries promptly.
· Quality control: Quality standards to be adhered to at all times.
· Employee Growth: Take responsibility for your own career growth and have regular discussions with the relevant role players.
Technical skills requirements
You'll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:
· Degree in business and / or information management
· Good knowledge of the banking industry with at least 3 years’ experience including:
· Critical analysis and interpretation of business requirements
· Sound financial knowledge
· Basic risk assessment knowledge
· Product knowledge
· Process design skills
· Relationship management skills (Have the ability to build good client relationships)
· Accuracy in the capturing of data to the core business system
· Good knowledge of MS Office – Intermediate level (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
