Associate – Forensic & Integrity Services

The opportunity

EY is looking for Assurance Associate in the Forensic & Integrity Services team. The position is for the secondary research team supporting the Forensic & Integrity Services leadership team and client-facing personnel.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide quick-turnaround research services to Forensic & Integrity Services leadership team by responding to requests for company/Individual profiles, newsletters, etc.
• Clearly communicate research findings to senior research team members/Leadership Team
• Proactively study global/domestic developments to create newsletters for internal circulation
• Should be able to successfully complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and remain calm and focused under pressure

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Access)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently managing scheduling of work
• Added advantage –
Good hands on experience with Factiva, Advanced Excel and MS Access

To qualify for the role you must have

• Post Graduate/Graduate (preferably Bachelor of Management Studies) with 1 to 2 years of experience in secondary research domain with below requisites:
• Strong understanding of secondary research databases (especially Factiva, OneSource/D&B, LexisNexis, EMIS, Acuris (Formerly Mergermarket etc.), Good awareness and ability to find for company/Individual background information from reputable sources/Google searches within a stipulated time.
• Proficient in creating Profiles/Background on companies (Business Description/Company Overview, their recent mergers & acquisitions activities, etc.) and Individuals in word/PowerPoint format; and background searches on Individuals from IndianKanoon, Indian High courts sites, etc.
• Likely Companies : Integreon, Morgan Stanley Advantage Services, WNS, Mergermarket, Netscribes, Evalueserve, etc

Ideally you’ll also have

• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Ability to work independently once provided with direction
