Job description

The EY Global Compensation Services team provides and manages services for multinational companies who send employees to work and live in another country. 

GCS core function is to capture and analyse compensation data from multiple sources to deliver effective compensation management to their clients.  This helps their clients to pay employees the right amounts and pay the right taxes in the right countries. GCS provide global services to assist clients such as:

·  Compensation data collection and analysis for tax and social security compliance
·  Global payroll coordination and management
·  Post-payroll variance checks
·  Policy check
·  Accruals management and cost recharging
·  Total cost reporting and cost savings advisory
·  Management information reporting
·  Improve the international assignment experience, for both assignees and companies

In addition, the team provide advisory, project and ad hoc services such as:

·  Implementing new systems and processes
·  Developing and implementing technology solutions for different payroll providers
·  Managing related projects
·  Providing advice and assistance regarding new regulations
·  Liaising with 3 rd parties to ensure a smooth and efficient transfer of data

Responsibilities
Our team is expanding rapidly and we can offer you the chance to be involved in a growing service line, operating in an International environment and working with large multinational companies .  As an assistant consultant in our team, your main responsibilities are:

·  Facilitate monthly payroll process from start to finish to include collecting, processing and distributing data via multiple reports
·  Conduct first level review of client deliverables, e.g. Pay Instructions.  Use technology to identify errors, manipulate data and proactively seek resolution
·  Liaise with EY global offices regarding monthly deliverables and current regulation
·  Responsible for delivery in line with strict KPIs/SLAs
 
 
 
We will support taxation, project management and payroll qualifications, as well as giving you the opportunity for international secondments to one of our overseas offices, You will also be able to be involved in project work, along with daily operations and can choose to support one of our teams focusing on marketing, service quality or learning and development among others.

To qualify for the role you must have:
·  Good data manipulation skills required including reviewing and managing data
·  Experience with Microsoft Office
·  3 x A level grade C or above

You’ll also have one or more of the following attributes:
·  University degree or work experience in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths discipline
·  Experience in applying technology to solve business problems (e.g. using database management, automation tools)
·  Knowledge of  / experience in taxation
·  Knowledge of / experience in payroll
·  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
·  Willingness to travel
·  Language skills
