Apple Mac Engineer

Job Summary: Enterprise Workplace Technology – Mac@EY Product  Manager is responsible for the end to end Apple Mac user experience. We are looking  to fill an Apple Mac Engineer role that will support the Product Manager. This role will assist the Product Manager in providing an efficient & world class end to end user experience on the Mac platform. 

Essential Functions of the Job:
· 
Collaborate with Mac Product Owner, Desktop Engineering, GSD, TES onsite and Hardware Engineering

· 
Assist in testing and deployment of new applications for the Mac Loadset.

· 
Work with Information Security and other teams to assure Macs are compliant and secure.

· 
Assist the service desk on drafting knowledge articles for end users and support staff.

· 
Assist server owner with routine tasks (hardware/software evaluation,  requests for new deployments and reporting etc.)

Job Requirements:

Education:
· 
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience

Experience:
· 
Apple Certified Mac Support essentials certification a plus.

· 
Experience with Jamf Pro MDM environment. Certification a plus.

· 
Experience with large project rollouts at an enterprise level.

· 
Experience working in a large enterprise that is multi-national.

· 
Knowledge on Mac virtual technology such as and not limited to Citrix, Parallels, VM Fusion and VirtualBox

· 
Broad technical experience and understanding of having a multi-operating system environment.

· 
Broad understanding of macOS and supporting it in the enterprise.
