Analyst – Financial Services Risk Management

EY is a professional services firm, providing Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Transaction Advisory services to domestic and international clientele. We invite you to join our Financial Services Risk Management team in Budapest. The role is ideal for fresh graduates or for candidates with 1-2 years of experience.

The purpose of the job:
As a consultant in our FSRM team you will work predominantly for the major financial institutions on both local and regional projects. You will be helping clients in the areas of market and credit risk and you will be in touch with the hot topics and regulatory trends (Basel III, IFRS) in the financial markets.

Main responsibilities
·  Active involvementin projects in financial risk modelling, methodology designs and reviews by large Hungarian and international banks
·  Writing reports and presentations
·  Preparation of proposals for prospective clients
 
Requirements
·  Master’s degree in Economics, Math or Statistics (e.g.  Financial Mathematics / Quantitative finance)
·  Strong interest in economic analysis / financial data analysis / applied statistics
·  Knowledge of the financial markets and the banking industry
·  Very good command of spoken and written English
·  Good knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
·  Knowledge & experience with programming languages is an advantage(e.g. R, VBA, SAS, MATLAB, C++, SQL)
·  Outstanding analytical and structured thinking
·  Good presentation and communication skills
