Actuarial Consultants Advisory – Data Analytics

Job description

For our growing Actuarial practice, we are looking for professionals with a diverse range of experience that combines a solid quantitative background with hands-on experience, a problem solving mentality and good business acumen.  

Within the insurance sector, there is growing need to involve data analytics in topics that are traditionally covered by actuaries, such as claims management, pricing, underwriting and reserving.

The key matters we cover
·  Pricing enhancement through non-traditional actuarial techniques
·  Product innovation, e.g. Pay As/How You Drive, Pay as You Live, Cybersecurity, etc.
·  Claims optimization via claim triage, claims leakage assessment, process automation and early claims fraud detection
·  Optimizing reserves through the use of data and enhanced risk analysis
·  Advancement of underwriting through the use of predictive models and Robotic Process Automation
·  Integrating data environments for better lifetime value of data

To qualify for the role you must have
·  Master degree in a relevant field: actuarial science, economics, mathematics, physics, applied statistics or econometrics
·  Relevant professional experience (3 to 10 years) in an actuarial department or in a consultancy firm
·  Solid knowledge in (one or more) areas like pricing, underwriting, claims management, reserving, telematics, etc.
·  Experience with applying data/predictive analytics in one of the above domains
·  Experience with data systems and/or analytics tools
·  Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
·  Excellent communication skills, withfluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient level of business English
·  A global mindset, with eagerness to work in international teams.
