Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Tax Centre   

 
Our EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) practice helps clients to develop world class tax functions by improving the end-to-end business processes that drive their tax performance. We works with an extensive range of clients across EMEIA including many of the FTSE100 and the major Fortune 500 organisations. All our clients recognise our unique ability to enable change.

Tax Performance Advisory (TPA)
 
Within TPA, we help to develop world class tax functions by assisting our clients improve end to end business processes that drive tax performance and leading tax functions. We advise our clients on the strategic and operational challenges facing their tax functions; help to identify issues and implement practical improvements for more efficient, effective and sustainable tax functions.  We offer a broad array of services around tax function performance covering people, process and technology. During your first year you could for example be part of a review and re-design of a global tax control framework, the implementation of a new tax reporting technology solution or an electronic audit benchmark assessment. 

What will I be doing if I join the EMEIA Tax Centre?

 
We offer a broad array of services around tax function performance that cover people, process and technology, you’ll be in the thick of it from day one, attending client meetings, supporting consultants and learning how to use the tools and technology we employ daily.

Working within ETC gives a unique opportunity to build networks and relationships across borders. By the time you finish the graduate programme you will have a professional qualification, your own client portfolio and a vast list of contacts within EY – all foundations for building a great career. 

What support and professional qualifications will I receive?
 
Graduates will be supported by a bespoke personal development programme that encompasses tax technical, relationship building, leadership and systems training to accelerate your professional growth with us.  Additionally, you’ll receive mentoring to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to perform optimally and reach your full potential.
Graduates will have the opportunity to study for a professional qualification as part of their contract - the Chartered Accountancy qualification with ICAS.

What do we look for?
 
We want people with a keen interest in improving business tax functions through the use of technology and process improvement. Successful candidates will ideally have a strong affinity to problem solving via the means of technology solutions and will enjoy being challenged in a dynamic, team environment.

Entry requirements:
 
To be eligible for our Graduate programme you should be studying for an honours degree or have graduated with an honours degree. You must have obtained this qualification in advance of the programme start date in September 2018.
