Role Focus  

    Stakeholder Engagement/Business partnering. 

·  Being a trusted strategic business partner to Finance Management (mainly FP&A and COGS) Teams to drive the Finance digital agenda. 
·  Being a strategic partner to Central/Regional teams/commons to co-build the IT strategy, to drive change, and to continuously improve services 
·  Maintaining excellent service levels to ensure stability and to minimise disruption to Finance operations. 
·  Working closely with service providers and support teams to ensure service KPIs are met, and systems' stability is maintained (Resource allocation, cost plans, escalation process) 

  

Innovation & Digitalisation 

·  Bringing the outside in, continuously assessing technology functional and technical fit, and working closely with Digital teams to drive breakthrough ideas, & concepts and to bring them to life. 
·  Playing a key enabler role in defining the digitalisation agenda, co-building the strategy and plans together with Finance and central teams. 

  

Governance 

·  Owning and managing the IT Support Functions budget for Finance investments, managing the demand process to ensure financials and all governance rules and policies are followed. Managing the portfolio and prioritisation process. 
·  Participating in Functional committees to drive the IT agenda, to influence the decisions. 
·  Managing vendors, covering SLA's and contracts. 

About you  

·  Knowledge and understanding of Finance processes in commercial context; Transactional Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, COGS, Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance. 
·  Good level of expertise on the IT Finance landscape; systems, tool, apps. 
·  Expertise digitalisation of Finance processes. 
·  Great business partnering skills, including influencing with impact, storytelling, value creation. 
·  Deep knowledge about financials, business case, ROIs, budgeting practices. 
·  Leadership skills to create impact beyond IT Support Functions, to deliver through others 
·  Both strategic and analytical thinking skills. 
·  Agile & continuous improvement mindset .

 

Please note that the salary on offer for this role is between £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonuses & Benefits
