Job description
To be a member of PCM team in the development and delivery of a robust technical strategy that ensures Nutricia Liverpool delivers products of consistent, specified quality and uncompromising safety, in line with Danone Specialised Nutrition Quality Ambition. To build relationships both internally and externally that challenge and support technical excellence.
The PCM role is primarily involved in the end-to-end management and execution of Product and Process Project Trials, the projects can be Innovation, Renovation, Secure & Productivity. Whilst also acting as a support function to other departments when expertise is required with respect to Recipe, Product or Packaging.
Your role will require strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
To be responsible for ensuring all operations within the areas of responsibility are carried out in a safe manner. To be fully aware of company procedures relating to Fire Evacuation, Accident Reporting, and Food Safety. To ensure all staff behave in a safe and responsible manner within the area of responsibility.
A successful candidate will have the below skills :
· Good analytical and technical capabilities
· Presentation skills
· Problem solving skills
· Accustomed with physical processing of food ingredients, especially dry powder
· Good knowledge of Quality and Food Safety management systems
· Good understanding of products, procedures, processes and equipment
· Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to cross functional project teams
· A pro-active approach and positive attitude together with excellent team working skills
· Proficient in the use of various software packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP, Guardian, MES, LIMS, Tekdan, Q-Pulse
· Capable of working on multiple priorities and setting targets and timeframes.
· Able to contribute to the benefit of the team.
· Adaptable enough to work in an environment that changes / challenges daily.
· Ability to work in a pressurised, heavily targeted and measured environment.
· Good understanding of the holistic Liverpool site and how different teams link together to help deliver change to our portfolio and ways of working.
