Job description
Within Integrated Brand Communications team of Danone Benelux, you will be responsible for the Owned Platforms for our portfolio of FMCG brands: day2day operations, maintenance and sustainable performance of BE & NL websites for our Dairy, Plant-Based & Water brands. Your scope will also include technical SEO, link building, security and page speed, as well as overseeing and managing our platforms’ referencing, stability, reporting, necessary bug fixes and alignment with business goals. Your responsibilities will include:
BNL Digital Trust Program Lead (60%):
· Y1 / 2025: Represent the business & lead successful migration of 40+ BNL website domains.
· Working closely with multiple stakeholders, cover the full project lifecycle from gathering requirements and, understanding the user journey to coding the front end to liaising with our technical team on back-end development.
· Partnering up with BNL Danone IT team &/or an external vendor for back-end, your responsibility will be to oversee front-end & content migration into AEM, as well as leading SEO, UX & UAT, validating website modifications with business owners, as well as Go Live acceptance.
· Y2 / 2026 onwards: Scope will evolve into maintenance, technical & security upgrades, content optimization, search & analytics, personalized user journeys and exploring potential of marketing automation projects in collaboration with business leads & BNL IT team.
BNL domains, consent policy, SEO & marketing automation SPOC (30%)
· Maintenance: implementing website updates, as part of a broader marketing activations. Supporting brand teams in ensuring new product launches are correctly & timely reflected on brand websites;
· Performance Monitoring: continuously monitoring domains’ performance and making necessary adjustments, being the SPOC within the IBC team for owned channels analytics.
· Active participation in technical discussions, ability to understand requirements and assess whether they meet business needs.
· Local CMS & GA tools champion (AEM for our .be and .nl websites + GA4 domains).
· Ownership of website traffic, GA tracking and pixels on our digital media platforms (DV360, Facebooks Ads, IAS).
· SEO lead.
· Marketing automation / e-mail tool SPOC for FMCG brands.
Owned Platforms Strategy (10%):
· Active participant in overarching digital & IBC strategy development and its implementation by providing solid knowledge of possibilities and limitations.
· Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to optimize platform’s use and performance within allocated budget.
Competencies:
· Good knowledge of CMS, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (content, front-end & website infrastructure) to effectively communicate with development teams
· Understanding of journey maps production, personas, scenarios, process flows, information and architecture diagrams
· Deep knowledge of SEO: from strategy to implementation
· Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data, critical thinking applied to data (GA4 / Adobe Analytics or similar
· Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles, with an ability to translate designs across multiple devices and platforms
· AI tools & marketing automation familiarity
· Understanding of user data protection principles and GDPR compliance in web applications
· Knowledge of website analytics tools to inform design decisions and iterate on user experience
We are looking for someone these requirements:
· University / bachelor graduate (business school, engineer or university), you have 2-5 years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Digital / AEM websites management
· You have prior experience in consumer space (FMCG environment preferred)
· You are recognized for your hands-on approach, your ability to anticipate issues & find solutions
· You are autonomous and proactive in the management of your function, as well as communication with stakeholders
· You can prioritize, organize yourself and stay focused on your priorities in a changing environment
· Your interpersonal skills allow you to develop a collaborative spirit internally and effectively manage change
· You are a team player – able to work well with cross-functional teams, fostering collaborative environment
· You are both capable of data analysis & context interpretation for broader audiences
· You are fluent in English and Dutch. French is a strong plus
Please note that this newly created role is only for Netherlands-based candidates, we are not able to relocate or provide remote working options. Occasional (once a month) travel to the Brussels office will be required.
