Job description

Education and Experience

·  Associates degree or two-year technical school in the field of manufacturing technology or equivalent technical studies.
·  5 to 7 years previous maintenance experience preferred, preferably in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
·  Expectation to achieve maintenance planning and scheduling certification within first 18 months in role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·  Working and practical knowledge of plant utility systems, (including boiler systems, commercial/industrial refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, waste water treatment).
·  Basic knowledge of minor estimating, scheduling, planning, and budgeting.
·  Working knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, Servo’s and plant automation systems.
·  Working knowledge of National, State, Local building codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations.
