Co-Develop the Europe Milk Roadmap
· Support milk teams in defining programs that align with the Danone Impact Journey commitments, focusing on actions at farm level, budgets, funding, partnerships, and impact quantification (particularly CO2 and methane). While climate action is a priority, biodiversity, water management, and soil health will also be key focuses in the roadmap.
Monitor the Implementation of Danone Impact Journey Programs
· Lead project review calls with sustainability managers, update progress trackers, risk & opportunities files, and budgets.
Drive the Deployment of Danone Impact Journey in the Europe Milk Team
· As a member of the Europe milk leadership team, you will be the go-to person for DIJ-related topics. You will lead monthly meetings to update the EU Milk Leadership Team and country directors on guidelines and program progress.
· Animate a European community of sustainability managers in milk through regular calls to share best practices across countries. Once a year you’ll organize in collaboration with the EU Farmer relationship manager FRM Days to gather all EU teams working on FRM and sustainability
Contribute to Danone's Global Agriculture Strategy and Program Deployment in Europe
· As a member of the global agriculture team, contribute to shaping the global strategy and support the deployment of global programs in Europe.
We are looking for the candidate with strong expertise in sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices, with a strong understanding of the latest trends, methodologies, and innovations in promoting soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
Furthermore you have:
· Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to successful completion, with a focus on delivering results within set timelines and budgets.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, NGOs, and technical advisors, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
· Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to establish meaningful KPIs and track the impact of regenerative agriculture initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve program outcomes.
· An ability to develop long-term plans for scaling regenerative agriculture practices across the EU region. Identify growth opportunities and external funding sources to expand program impact.
· Strong financial skills to develop cost plans, assess ROI, and secure necessary funding for project implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with buyers, brand managers, and sustainable development experts.
· Resourceful problem solver with a proven ability to adapt strategies based on budget constraints, farmer feedback, and market dynamics.
· International experience, preferably within the EU agriculture sector, with knowledge of regional regulations, policies, and market dynamics related to agriculture and sustainability.
· Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a keen interest in the latest developments in agricultural technology and sustainable solutions.
· Proficiency in both French and English is essential. Additionally, fluency in other European languages is highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
