Job description
This role is a pivot of enabling to deliver our brand communication for consumer at the touch points where shopper purchase our products. To do so, the person whom in charge of this role needs to,
· Understand the brand strategy and develop Go-to-Market strategy together with brand marketing team
· Lead by channel strategy development of the brand and planning of executions with excellence
· Develop plans & tools together to deliver our sales fundamentals goals and strategies
· Develop customer selling story by enhancing how to create the customer value including innovation selling
Main responsibilities
· Go-to-market strategy
· Based on brand strategy which marketing developed, develop Go-to-Market strategy and plans for existing portfolio as well as new innovation to achieve sales fundamentals goal.
Co-work with marketing team for post-launch analysis for learnings
· Define sales fundamentals target by channel to achieve brand sales target by using relevant competitive benchmarks.
· Develop sufficient plans and tools to deliver the sales fundamentals target by channel.
· Develop strong customer selling story / toolkit and execution plan to maximize our brands’ sales and profitability
· Support customer negotiation where needed, but focusing on top customer of Danone Japan
· Maintain up-to-date portfolio ABCD prioritization by channel and monitor performance by team
· BOP & sales operations
· Support for Business Operating Process (GPS in Danone) with identifying Risks & Opportunities to our demand forecast
· Develop gap filling plans to achieve sales target
· Update all changes of our portfolio (e.g., labels, ingredients) and guide sales team detail executions together with sales execution excellence team
· Lead for bi-annual Topline Convention
· Together with Sr. Manager and team managers in G2M strategy & planning team, lead preparation of bi-annual Topline Convention to all Sales and topline team members
· Develop a customer selling story for coming 6months and deploy it to all field Sales team members
CAPABILITY PROFILE – Required Background
Education background
· Possess a general bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and above
Technical Skills and Experiences required
· Solid Sales experience in FMCG manufacturer and/or retailer
· Good understanding of Japanese retail landscape and shopper
· Good analysis skill of market situation (what happened and why)
· Understanding of basic financials (components of P&L)
· Experience of team building and capability development
· Native level of written and spoken Japanese and intermediate level of written and spoken English
· Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
