Job description
The Maintenance Lead is a position within the IWS organization of our Danone factory in Rotselaar.
As a Maintenance Lead, you are responsible for executing and continuously improving maintenance operations and for the maintenance planning of the line. You ensure that there is sufficient knowledge and technical competence present by transferring your knowledge to the teams on the shop floor. You spend most of your time on the shop floor.
As a Maintenance Lead, you are responsible for:
· Planning and organizing maintenance work through the necessary work preparation: including specifically scheduling the work, providing permits, ordering the necessary spare parts, scheduling internal or external technicians, estimating the duration, coordinating with planning, coordinating during, and following up on the work.
· Viewing and prioritizing notifications & notifications in Maecos and SAP on a daily basis.
· Detecting/solving defects, where necessary, tinkering yourself.
· Analysis of the malfunctions to reduce the number of malfunctions.
· Participating in the daily (DDS) and weekly meeting (WDS) by reporting results in terms of maintenance and addressing problems.
· Minimizing unplanned downtime by focusing on planned (preventive & predictive) maintenance.
· You are flexible in working hours to see the different shifts on a regular basis, in order to be able to roll out IWS in all teams.
· You are responsible for the stability on the line by continuously improving in terms of maintenance, such as updating maintenance technical documentation & standards, by planning the maintenance as cost- and time-efficiently as possible, etc.
· You build together with the Line lead and Process lead on the knowledge & competencies of the operators & technicians through coaching & training on-the-job.
Reporting line
Initially, you report to the Maintenance Manager.
When the organization is ready, the Line lead becomes your hierarchical superior. You maintain a link with the Maintenance organization through the transversal pillars & responsibilities.
