Logistics Warehouse & Project Management Manager

Job description
Primary purpose of the role:
• Improve logistics operation in quality, cost and performance, covering warehouse and transportation
• Project management for supply chain / logistics as Project Manager
• Design and develop Supply Chain Network to secure company future growth for short, middle and long term
• Develop a team of talents
Main responsibilities:
• Ensure that every day shipment executed well to fulfil customer service level
• Make sure that all goods receipt, storage and delivery at / from each DC is executed effectively in line with group quality and food safety requirement
• Optimize logistics cost structures and improve / reduce Cost to Serve, in the element of warehouse inbound & outbound, storage and transportation
• Follow the company strategy to develop relationship with 3PLs and continue to improve productivity and cost efficiency
• Corporate with 3PLs for continuous performance improvement through KPI management and best practice sharing amongst all
• Manage both oversea and domestic 3PMs for their logistics operation in performance, quality and costs
• Manage import operation from oversea 3PMs, working closely with the selected forwarders on custom clearance, shipment scheduling and quality
• Manage and lead various supply chain projects with multiple functions as Project Manager
• Design, develop and execute activities of Supply Chain Network Optimization based on Operations Master Plan
• Work with Quality Food Safety Department to retain and improve operational quality to fulfil our company's standard
• Manage internal control activities, such as DC Audit and Annual Stocktaking
• Lead and direct the team to achieve targets and contribute to company growth
• Supervise team members respectively to gain competences and to reinforce performance of both individual and team for their development
• Coaching team member for their individua growth and team development
Education background:
• University Graduate
Technical Skills and Experiences required:
• Proven experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation management and 3PL management in performance, costs and quality
• Passion and some experience in people management and development experience
• Prior experience in food company is preferred but not mandatory requirement
• Skills in finding, negotiating and cooperating with external partners (e.g., 3PL)
• Experience in 3PL forwarder management for importation and customs
• Project Management and Business Process Optimization experience related to supply chain and logistics
• Design and develop supply chain network, such as new warehouse launch, warehouses migration, WMS implementation and transport optimization
• Hands-on experience and operation management on Genba (on-site) level
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with cross function team experience
• Systems, such as SAP (ERP) and WMS process experience and knowledge, system development and/or implementation experience is also preferable
• Data analysis skills for decision making
• Familiar with working with the computer (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Business level of English both in writing and speaking
• Japanese : Native level is required
