About the context

SN is a growing and innovative division that went live during 2019 as the result of merging both ELN and AMN businesses. In this re-origination context is essential to:

·  Have good visibility/understanding on the mid-long demand evolution and drivers for every category and region.
·  Support SC upstream decision making process by providing relevant input for supply scenario planning through R&O.
·  Capture and flag short term demand swings potentially affecting goods availability .
·  Help build an optimized and robust value chain by supporting trade off analysis between service, cost to serve and inventory

About the role

As team member, your main focus will be on Europe sourced markets, ie mainly Europe countries, Africa, middle East and Turkey.
Main responsibilities:

·  You will have a key role in bringing visibility on consolidated demand signals, as well as risks and opportunities in the new Specialized Nutrition context.
·  You will also highly be involved in improvement projects to improve master data accuracy, forecast accuracy and forecast bias as well as global processes.
·  Build a global overview of the demand, challenge CBUs on their submission, build a support for the monthly discussion with CBUs, animate those discussion.
·  Improve processes and ways of working in the new SN context.

About you

Knowledge and skills needed:

·  Educational level bachelor and/or master in Supply Chain, Operations or Industrial Engineering subject.
·  Analytical skills and advance Excel skills
·  Communication skills
·  Enthusiastic and proactive

There are also some compulsory requirements:

·  Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
·  Ideally available to start in 15th November for a minimum of 6 months, ideally 5 days per week.
·  You are fluent in English - oral and written; French is considered as a plus;

You are able to work from the office if the COVID-19 situation allows us to go there.

In the team of Federico Catalano EU GPS and Demand Manager. We take care of the European Demand department for the SN division and you will work with people like Robert Naaktgeboren , Global Demand Planning Manager.

With this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn a lot from the global supply and demand teams, located in Hoofddorp and in the factories. You will be located at Danone Place Amsterdam, NL with eventual visits to CBUs in Europe. Collaborating with many different stakeholders from the central teams and factories. Next to the above, you will also have the opportunity to be part of other projects that will be available during the internship period. There is sufficient room to develop yourself as there is enough to do!

NL: We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a contribution towards travel if required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
