As an intern supporting the Global Procurement Team for the Cups category at Danone, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks related to supplier relationship management, market research, data management, and process improvement. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from skilled professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your main responsibilities include:
· Support SRM Implementation - Assist in implementing Supplier Relationship Management processes and ensure stakeholder alignment with Danone's standards.
· Supplier Assessment and Scouting - Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and technologies, as well as assess the capabilities of current and new suppliers.
· Benchmarking and Analysis - Maintain databases, benchmark supplier performance, analyze complexity and competitiveness, and contribute to a comprehensive cup catalogue.
· Process Improvement - Improve tender templates, enhance the Business Continuity Plan, and support the Mold Capacity Management Tool.

· You are a Master student currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical and research skills
· Business savvy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
As a Global Category Buyer intern, strategic thinking will be second nature to you. You can manage a variety of stakeholders and have a strong interest in procurement processes. On top of that? You’re an energetic self-starter who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
· Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period;
· You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
· Ideally available to start in May/June for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
· You are fluent in English - spoken and written; French is considered as a plus;
· You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 3-4 days per week.
