About the Role

As Global Specification Manager you will manage the specifications of Dairy materials in Asia Pacific, which includes but not limited to Dairy Specialty Ingredients and supporting other Dairy Ingredients as per business exigencies. You are committed to support raw material monitoring programs which may include sample management result tracking and statistical analysis. Specifications approval process and maintaining up to date Artemis data will be a part of the role to achieve efficiency.

You are responsible to ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance of the Infant Milk Ingredients used in Danone Early Life Nutrition factories in the region, to ensure highest standards of finished products for sensitive customers.

About the Job

·  Achieve full technical, food safety and regulatory compliance of Infant Milk Ingredients specifications
·  Strive for first time right/quality by design for any Infant Milk Ingredient specification change introduced across whole value chain by executing robust specification management processes
·  Drive specification upgrading process: functional specification, supplier statistical process control (tolerances), new regulatory global requirements, safety risks anticipation
·  Identify opportunities for specification improvement, efficiency, complexity reduction, security of supply and translate those into concrete harmonization projects across factories and suppliers.
·  Build and maintain effective working relationship with internal (Purchasing, Regulatory and R&D teams) and external partners (suppliers, technology partners) for excellence in execution.
·  Contribute to improving ways of working and processes in Infant Milk Ingredients Specifications management

About You

·  Excellent team working and communication skills in a non-hierarchical, cross functional and highly international environment

·  Resilience and determination to make things happen
·  Preferably Dairy specifications development experience with a strong focus on material quality, food safety and regulatory compliance on global scale
·  Preferably 2 years of experience building a strong know-how of dairy raw materials, dairy conversion processes/technologies, dairy cost drivers and regulation.
·  Experience in Artemis/SAP systems is a plus
·  Flexible to take ownership of other dairy portfolios at a short notice.
·  Ability to work in a multi - cultural dynamic environment
·  Experience in working in large data management systems
·  A Master's degree in Food Science or related field is preferred, candidates with a Bachelor's degree can also apply
