HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER, SWEDEN    

Are you passionate about human relations and driven to foster a positive work environment? We are seeking an  HR Manager for Sweden who will be the cornerstone of our business partnership, providing first-class human resource guidance and legal advice. Your role will be pivotal in driving business and supporting the agility of our organization.

As HR Manager for Sweden and a part of the Scandinavian HR team, your primary responsibility is to create strong business partnership with our Employees and Managers in all HR related issues to drive business and support the agility of the organization. You will provide first class human resource guidance and legal advice and be responsible for negotiations with Union Representatives. Furthermore, the HR Manager will work closely with our Retail Managers to improve work relationships, attract talented retail employees, and increase productivity and retention. As a part of the Scandinavian team, the HR Manager supports the Norwegian organization with HR guidance.

This position is a full-time role in an inspiring environment and development in a Company with high ambitions and great courage. The position is based in Stockholm and reports hierarchically to the Human Resource Director, Scandinavia.

THE IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

·  HR Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and Collective Bargain Agreement.
·  Employee Relations Expert: Handle inquiries, and provide legal advice mainly on an operational level but also on a strategic level in collaboration with the Scandinavian HR Team
·  Union Negotiations: Engage and maintain a healthy cooperation and  dialogue with Union Representatives on grievances and policies.
·  HR Policy Development: Maintain and update HR policies and templates.
·  Managerial Coaching: Coach and improve Manager’s understanding of labour relations and promote improved management solutions and best practice.
·  Recruitment Strategy & Staff Selection: Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan and improve interview tools and techniques
·  Annual HR processes: Salary review and bonuses, people engagement survey, performance, talent development, etc.). 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Professional qualifications

·  Solid work experience as HR Manager and/or HR Business Partner
·  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within human resource management and/or Swedish labor law
·  Demonstrated experience within luxury or high-end retail industry is a plus.
·  Thorough knowledge of Swedish labor law legislation, Norwegian labour law experience is considered meriting.
·  Solid experience within union negotiations and CBA’s.
·  Excellent understanding of branding and employer positioning.

Personal qualifications

·  Inspiring and positive HR Manager with a strong sense of business reality, demonstrating strong people skills, strong listening skills, learning ability, build relationships and manage change effectively 
·  Strong and positive leadership, able to engage and connect the different stakeholders, including a strong ability to create the conditions for quality dialogue with unions and employee representatives 
·  Comfortable working in a complex/matrix environment and able to get buy-in from all stakeholders through a realistic and proactive posture, demonstrating the ability to "walk the talk" 
·  Business acumen: have a good understanding of business issues and the Retail approach and be able to translate them into human and organizational initiatives. 
·  Energetic, creative, able to move projects forward 
·  Excellent communicator ensuring a close relationship with the teams in the field 
·  Passionate about the brand, retail and human relations  
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English across all levels of the organisation.
