TREASURY ANALYST

Location : Panamá, Panamá City

Reports to : Treasu Manager

Contract : Full-time and permanent position

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL

As part of the Treasure team, you will be responsible for the review and control of cash receipts and disbursement under the supervision of the Treasury Manager.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

·  Creation and maintenance of Customer & Vendor Master Data
·  Daily Debt Collection & customer follow up
·  Payment journals recording
·  Review and distribution of invoices to Coupa
·  Review coding and process transactions in Coupa
·  Review and validate data between Coupa and AX
·  Preparation of payments thru electronic banking system.
·  Review and recording of Intercompany Invoices
·  Preparation of Auxiliaries in a monthly basis
·  Review and prepare Intercompany Reconciliation process in a quarterly basis.
·  Send Account Statements in a monthly basis.
·  Send Debit & Credit notes to customers in a weekly basis.
·  Send payment notifications to vendors in a weekly basis.
·  Review and recording of customer and vendor retention tax.
·  Control, review, and approval of changes in Customer Information System (CIS)
·  Prepare Netting journal payment in a monthly basis.
·  Intercompany Reconciliation in a monthly basis
·  Prepare Transfer Pricing Report to Global yearly.
·  Prepare Liquidity Plan (Actual) in a monthly basis.
·  Recording of other collections and bank charges.
·  Control, review, and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
·  Review and recording of Travel Expenses in Sap Concur.
·  Assist the department in other areas, when required.
·  Preparation of DPO and DSO reports in a monthly basis

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

·  You are up to date in things like cash management, debt management, investment activities, and foreign exchange risk management.
·  Building relationships with different stakeholders within and outside the organization.
·  The opportunity to develop a strong foundation in financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial modeling, as well as gaining a good understanding of the banking industry and financial markets.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

·  You must be fluent both in English and Spanish
·  Strong Microsoft Excel level skills with a solid mathematical and statistical knowledge is a must.
·  2+ years of experience working in Treasury or Accounting positions in multinational companies, partially exposed to the accounting complete cycle.
·  Experience working with ERP’s, such as AX and SAP, knowledge of tools like Coupa and Concur, will be appreciated.
·  At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Industrial Engineer.
·  Service oriented and customer focused.
·  Able to work independently as well as team player, problem-solving and good communicator
·  Must be someone organized, resourceful, with a clear communication and strong analytical skills.
