At CGI, we are looking for a .NET and Cloud Developer to work on an international project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Conversational English level B2 or higher.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in Transportation Management and/or Distribution Management technology preferred.
- Demonstrated experience functioning as a senior engineer, technical lead, or solution architect for enterprise applications.
- Deep expertise designing and developing cloud-native solutions in Azure.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservice architectures, event-driven design patterns, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, and Azure application configuration services.
- Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and related Azure hosting services.
- Strong experience designing, consuming, and supporting GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Experience building integrations with third-party vendors, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of security principles, authentication, authorization, secure coding practices, and common application vulnerabilities (OWASP).
- Experience using Postman or similar API testing and validation tools.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, SOLID design principles, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) within enterprise software development environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using .NET and modern cloud-native Azure architecture patterns.
- Define solution architecture, technical design approaches, and implementation strategies for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Design, develop, and support microservices, background services, Azure Functions, and eventdriven solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations with internal systems, third-party platforms, and external APIs.
- Design and develop GraphQL and REST-based services to support enterprise applications and integrations.
- Implement secure application design principles, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and vulnerability remediation practices.
- Develop and deploy containerized solutions using Docker and Azure services.
- Leverage Azure technologies including Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, and related cloud services.
- Test applications using various strategies (Unit, Integration, System, Performance, and Smoke Testing) prior to QA handoff and support defect resolution from user and QA testing.
- Support production incident resolution and root-cause analysis activities, partnering with operations and support teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Partner with Product Owners and technical leadership to groom backlogs, evaluate technical debt, and define future-state solutions.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, workflow documentation, and implementation plans.
- Establish dashboards, monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure application health and operational excellence.
- Independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges with minimal direction.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed while understanding

- The ideal candidate is a senior-level cloud engineer who combines deep technical expertise with architectural thinking and ownership. They are capable of independently driving complex technical initiatives from concept through production while balancing scalability, maintainability, security, and performance considerations. They possess strong problem-solving skills, quickly adapt to new technologies, and proactively identify solutions when faced with ambiguity. This individual is highly collaborative, communicates effectively with both engineering and business stakeholders, and consistently raises the technical maturity of the team through mentorship, sound design decisions, and engineering best practices. They embrace AI as a development accelerator but understand where engineering judgment, validation, and architectural discipline remain essential.
