Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Looking for 3 to 5 years experience with a good knowledge on unix and SQL and some basics of Java. He should have good communication skills as he will be directly working with onshore and clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide Level 2/Level 3 production and application support for enterprise applications.
• Monitor application health, system performance, and batch processes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Analyze application, server, and database logs to identify and resolve problems.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Work with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex issues.
• Support deployments, releases, and maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and production incident management as required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of SQL (query writing, joins, subqueries, performance analysis).
• Experience in application production support and incident management.
• Knowledge of log analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, ticketing tools, and SLA management.
• Ability to analyze issues independently and drive them to resolution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
