Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in an agile environment to deliver robust and efficient testing solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools

. Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications across multiple browsers

. Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to derive effective test scenarios

. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

. Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing through automation

. Identify, log, and track defects while providing clear root cause analysis

. Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and overall application quality

. Review automation code and ensure adherence to best practices, reusability, and maintainability

. Mentor junior testers and contribute to test strategy, quality standards, and process improvements

. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

. Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and support records

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 2–5 years of experience in test automation

. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright

. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#

. Experience with automation testing frameworks including TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, or Jest

. Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC

. Experience testing web applications across different browsers and environments

. Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

. Experience with API automation using REST Assured, Postman, Playwright API, or similar tools

. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

. Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques

. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

. Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based testing environments
