CGI Federal is currently seeking a Data Analyst and Visualization Expert who is passionate about solving challenging client problems with emerging technology solutions. The Data Analyst and Visualization Expert will work cross functionally throughout the team, as well as directly with the client to refine business needs and priorities, coordinate and execute technical tasks, and develop innovative software solutions for our federal client. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively in an agile setting, supporting multiple work streams, and coordinating technical delivery with the client. The candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills and should be motivated to become an expert in the client's software to develop modern Business Intelligence technology solutions that will directly impact client missions. As a member of CGI's International Affairs Business Unit, the Business Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to work with various clients in the US federal space, supporting missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
. Prepare and actively participate in internal and external workgroup meetings, project team meetings, and client requirements sessions to understand business needs while striving to improve and innovate existing processes/software
. Operate cross-functionally as a technical team lead to ensure smooth development and delivery of software
. Engineer and implement new business processes
. Research and devise solutions to system and/or business issues, to include addressing data, configuration, and application issues in coordination with functional teams
. Construct well-written solution communications that are concise and accurate for delivery to the client
. Test and optimize application performance through recommending design updates and/or tuning at the application or platform level
. Communicate effectively across management levels and functional teams
. Provide technical guidance to a cross-functional, agile team
. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding complex technical issues or business strategy
. Assist with architecting technology solutions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
An interim Secret Clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret Clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or STEM related discipline.
. Detail oriented, flexible, and proactive
. Ability to multi-task and to quickly adapt to changing client priorities and respond to ad hoc requests
. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills (collaborative, personable, team oriented) necessary to drive results within the team and to build strong relationships with clients
. Experience in design/development with visual analytics tools including PowerBI
. General knowledge of enterprise application integration
. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as a part of an agile/client facing team
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Functional Experience in Acquisitions (Procurement) Data
. Experience with Momentum ERP tables
. Working knowledge of Oracle SQL
. Agile SAFe Certification

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 - $121,100.00.
