Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Senior VMware/Omnissa VDI Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and operations teams to deliver stable, secure, and high-performing VDI services for international clients.

·  Administration, configuration, and optimization of VMware Horizon and VDI environments

·  Management of desktop pools, Golden Images, Instant Clones, and image lifecycle processes

·  Configuration and troubleshooting of FSLogix profile containers, VMware DEM, and user profile management solutions

·  Monitoring and improving login performance, session stability, and end-user experience

·  Automation of provisioning and operational tasks using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible, or DSC

·  Collaboration with cross-functional infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams in international environments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  Strong hands-on experience with VMware Horizon and enterprise VDI architectures

·  Expertise in Horizon Connection Server, Unified Access Gateway, Desktop Pools, Instant Clones, and Golden Images

·  Solid experience with FSLogix Profile Containers, Office Containers, Cloud Cache, and profile troubleshooting

·  Experience with VMware Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) and Profile Management Solutions

·  Good understanding of Windows client/server environments in VDI setups

·  Experience with GPOs, login scripts, policy-based configurations, and user environment management

·  Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis tools such as Login VSI, ControlUp, or similar

·  Experience troubleshooting login times, session behavior, application startup, and resource utilization

·  English C1

Nice to have:

·  Experience with VMware App Volumes and application packaging

·  Knowledge of PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible, DSC, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform

·  Understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies\Experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, storage, networking, and security integrations
