Position Description:
We are looking for a Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner who will serve as a servant leader to Agile teams, enabling consistent delivery of value while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong grounding in Scrum and SAFe principles, hands-on experience in complex IT environments, and the ability to coach teams toward maturity, autonomy, and high performance.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum and SAFe principles.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective) to drive team alignment and continuous improvement.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments impacting team delivery and performance.
• Coach team members on Agile best practices, fostering autonomy, accountability, and self-organization.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives and Inspect & Adapt practices.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring clarity of requirements.
• Enhance team performance by optimizing processes, improving flow, and reducing waste (Lean mindset).
• Track and communication team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down/up charts, etc.).
• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and psychologically safe team environment.
• Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimize external disruptions.
• Contributes to the adoption of DevSecOps, quality practices, and automated testing within the delivery lifecycle.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Use of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
• Experience in developing complex IT solutions (SDLC, DevSecOps, Run/support, Quality, Automated Testing).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficiency with Jira Cloud and Confluence for Agile planning, tracking, and collaboration.
• Familiarity or working knowledge of Rovo (Atlassian AI) is a plus.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$115,000. This role is an existing.
