Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
As an IT Business Systems Consultant in Payments, you will lead the eliciting and documenting of requirements for the modernization of client payment systems in a fast-paced Agile working environment. Candidates must demonstrate advanced requirement knowledge and be able to apply this competency in new or complex situations. You will be responsible for driving the execution of all aspects of requirements delivery - planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Act with a product owner mindset when it comes to requirements: defining, updating, and clarifying requirements as required with business, operational and technical partners
. Actively engage with solution architects and developer leads to take forward the requirements to design pipeline
. Co-operatively with the scum master and product owner to manage project risks, assumptions, and constraints
. Actively work with quality engineering lead in defining user story test scenarios and E2E testing scope
. Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
. Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise and payment requirement standards
. Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure traceability between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through to implementation
. Provide guidance and support to build the capabilities of less senior BAs
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have:
. 5+ years working as a Business Systems Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects. Knowledge of payments
. Knowledge of ISO20022
. Strong data‑mapping capability
. Experience with AI in requirements/SDLC, as the team is integrating AI into the entire SDLC
Nice-to-have
. Experience in Jira and Confluence
. Experience in working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) / Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) environment
. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Master's Certificate in Business Analysis
*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
