CGI are on the hunt for an experienced .NET Engineer to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Application Design and Development: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using .Net, ASP .Net Razor, C#, Typescript, React, ABP framework, Entity Framework , SSIS and SQL server.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement functional enhancements. Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Promote best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
- Azure Services: Utilize Azure Service Plans to deploy and manage applications in the cloud. Optimize performance and scalability of cloud-based solutions.
- Service Transition: Manage the transition of services to new teams, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity of service. Develop comprehensive transition plans and provide necessary training and support.
- Patching : Support application stack patching
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and design activities. Ensure clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in .Net, ASP .Net, Typescript, React, ABP framework, Entity Framework , SSIS and SQL server, Azure DevOps, and Azure Service Plans.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading development projects and mentoring team members.
- Service Transition: Experience in managing the transition of services to new teams, including planning, training, and support.
