UI/UX Front End Developer

Position Description:

We are looking for a UI/UX Front-End Developer who will play a crucial role in designing and building visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces based on CGI Branding Guidelines. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, back-end developers, and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into functional web components
• Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
• Optimize web pages for performance and SEO
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to the development of reusable UI components and libraries

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• A passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Nice to Have

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less)
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
